DESIGN PROCESS AND PRICING FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION

THESE ARE THE STEPS WE FOLLOW TO REACH FINAL DESIGN AND PERMIT DRAWINGS

B. BEGIN THE DESIGN PROCESS.

 

1) Design Meeting One: Clients share ideas with Designer and Designer creates Phase One Design(s).

2) Design Meeting Two: Clients critique, correct and revise Phase One Design(s) and Designer develops Phase Two Design(s).  (Client is allow 1 week decision time for each Design Session).

3) Design Meeting Three: Clients critique, correct and revise Phase Two Design(s) and Designer creates Final Design.

4) Design meeting four: Clients make corrections on Final Design and approve with signature.   After the Final Design is approved, Designer prepares Permit Drawings.

NOTE: ALL MEETINGS AFTER DESIGN MEETING ONE CAN TAKE PLACE IN THE DESIGNERS OFFICE OR BY EMAIL AT CLIENT'S PREFERENCE.

 

INFORMATION NEEDED AT DESIGN MEETING ONE

1) Client ideas or copies of floor plans, elevations, clippings, photos or sketches that contribute to interior and exterior design concept.

2) All site information, such as legal description, zoning and CC&R's.  Survey with coordinates and topography if necessary and available.

3) Building envelope information, which includes desired placement on lot and setbacks from property line.

4) Desired size of finished living space.
